Electra 2281 “Elvin Bishop” Model Semi hollow body archtop Electric guitar with original hard shell case. Serial number dates it to 1976. This guitar is in very good condition with just a few finish checks and a superficial swirl or two on the back. The head stock has a chip as pictured. The pickups sound fantastic. Tree of life in , Elvin Bishop name plate on the back of the head stock, beautiful flame top and back in a very nice red/yellow Sunburst finish. The neck is straight and plays smoothly, this guitar has every bit the quality build and electronics ass you could get in the “real 335” model of the day and is a fine example of the incredible artistry that was so often exhibited by the Matsumoku factory in the 1970’s and 80’s.
