Here is a very cool National Tricone Tenor resonator for sale complete with an original hard shell case. Oxidation is minor for its age and it has been restored to fully functional playability. The fingerboard has been wedged, tailpiece replaced with a modern repro from national, and a new saddle was built. Cones are in great shape and the tone is big and fantastic! A hole was drilled into the side at some time in its past and we can only assume it was for an eye hook for a strap. Spider Bridge. Comes with a rare original hard shell case which has had its handle replaced with a buckle leather handle that looks to be somewhat vintage itself. The serial number 374 dates this to its first year of production in 1928. A great instrument for both collectors and players alike in very good shape for its age!
